Spider-Man Franchise
So, Sony decided to scrap the Spider-Man 4 movie and reboot the entire franchise. First of all, I think it is idiotic to annoy Sam Raimi who has done a good job(except for the 3rd movie). They wanted so bad to have a big name in Anne Hathaway and 3D because of Avator, and the script was not what Raimi had in mind. The whole thing was all over the place. I think the reboot will not be as good because they set such a high standard considering how beautiful the first two movies were and the box office success the 3rd movie had. Well, there is a bright side; the last movie was so horrible people might want to see a different take on the franchise. I just don't think it's possible to do better than what Raimi did unless Sony listens to the fans with the whole James Cameron idea, but I still don't think it will be as good as Raimi's take; it might be more visually appealing though.
